Today I start blogging/tracking the progress of my new project, which I’m calling “Beautiful Waves.” My goal is to write and record a collaborative, creative, unique album full of “beautiful waves,” or waveforms (the visual representation of sound,) then dial in a great live show and book a month-long tour in the summer of 2010.
I’ve been making music for more than a decade and have never gone on a “tour.” This needs to change! I know many musicians like me who have passion for their craft but don’t know how to do anything with it outside of the “stuff of life;” their job, family, etc, so I thought I would catalog my journey in words, pictures and video. My dream is to have my cake and eat it too, to be a dad and a husband, and to make the music I have in me and get it out there to as many listeners as I can. Let’s get it crackin!

Another nice name! I’m glad you are tracking your progress.
Are you up for any strange ideas?
If I had your talent, i think I would pick up a few phrases at the local elementary school playground and set them to music.
It might be fun to put epitaphs into some lyrical and poetic form and compile an album of thought provoking gravestones.
Whatever you do, it will be great because you have it, my freind!
Ha, nice! “I know you are but what am I,” “Here lies Jeb Williams, a quiet man,” I could see those two concepts working together, nothing like a little juxtaposition.
